How do I know if my eSIM is activated?
1. Check for signal The clearest sign: signal bars appear at the top of your screen with a 4G/5G indicator after you switch to the Tiger eSIM and turn on Data Roaming. If you can browse the internet normally, the eSIM is activated and working.
2. Check the eSIM status on your device
-
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → [Tiger eSIM] — if it's connected, the network name (e.g., "CUniq" or the local carrier) and signal will show
-
Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → [Tiger eSIM] — same check
3. Check the plan status in the Tiger eSIM app
- Log in to the Tiger eSIM app → My eSIM. Once activated, the plan status will show as active and the Active Time / Expiry Time fields will be filled in (before activation, the plan shows as "Pending" and these fields are blank).
Note: Your plan activates when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination. If you're not in a supported region yet, "Pending" is normal — activation happens automatically once you arrive and the eSIM connects.
